We could not put on a successful performance without our amazing volunteers! 
Volunteers receive the opportunity to purchase show tickets at an early release date, one week prior to the general public. The theatre is assigned seating, so we like to give volunteers first pick at purchasing tickets!

Check-In Table – Check in dancers and direct them to their chaperones/ room.

Dressing Room & Hair Helper – Help with hair and costume changes.

Prop Loading/Unloading – Help load/ unload props to/from UHAUL truck.

Ticket Sales – Assist in selling tickets before the show begins.


Runner – Lines up dancers to go on stage. Should be available during dress rehearsal for training.

Chaperone –  Chaperones stay with their assigned group throughout the entire performance. We reserve a seat in the audience for chaperones to watch their dancer perform their routine during the show that they are chaperoning!

Theatre Door Monitor – Ensure that people entering the theatre have tickets and do not bring food or drinks inside.

Dressing Room Monitor – No food is allowed in the dressing rooms and dancers should not be eating while in their costume. Food monitors help enforce this.

Usher – Helps people to their seats. May pass out programs. Monitors theatre during show. Ushers are provided a free seat.

U-Haul Driver - Picks up truck at Belmont UHAUL location, drives to HBDA and CHS then back to Belmont UHAUL. We need one person on Thursday and another on Sunday.

Flower Sales – Assist in setting up and selling flowers before the show, during intermission, and after the show.

Strike Crew – About 5-10 people help take down dressing room signs/ show orders and gather things dancers have left behind. This takes only 15 minutes!

Volunteers will be emailed a special code with instructions on purchasing pre-sale tickets.
