Each week will focus on a different princess story. Dancers will learn the fundamentals of ballet in an imaginative environment full of fairytales and magic! We will learn exciting dances and create our own props & accessories set to the princess theme of the week.
Your little one won't want to leave early - at the end of class on Thursdays, we will have a special meet & greet moment with the princess!
Dress code: tights and leotard, ballet shoes (ballet skirt or shorts optional)

Mermaid Sparkle Party!

Be swept away into the water and transform into mermaids dancing under the sea! Our mermaids will spend their days swimming to ballet, lyrical and jazz moves. Need some thing-a-ma-bobs? We've got plenty! Dancers will create magical accessories throughout the week.
Materials Fee covers daily age appropriate crafts, snacks, camp shirt, and end of the week pizza + fruit party. Dancers should bring a healthy lunch daily.

Rainbow Unicorn

Join the magical world of Unicorns this Summer! Dancers will have fun learning new dances and skills in Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Tumbling. Dancers will also create sparkly props to dance like unicorns under majestic skies!

bows and rainbows that dancers will create using their own imaginations during camp

Get ready to Move and Groove! This high-energy summer camp for dancers ages 6-9 introduces three exciting styles: hip hop, tumbling, and tap. Kids will have a blast exploring new moves, building confidence, and discovering their rhythm in a fun and supportive environment!

The Beach is coming to Belmont this summer! Dive into the fun at our Beach Party camp for dancers ages 5-8. Each day will feature exciting dance styles inspired by sunny shores, ocean waves, and tropical vibes. From groovy island rhythms to playful surf-themed choreography, this camp will give you endless fun, creativity, and a splash of summer magic.

In Ballet Classics Camp, dancers will refine their technique while exploring the stories and choreography of beloved ballets like Swan Lake, Coppélia, and Giselle. Intensive camps include instruction in Jazz, Contemporary/Lyrical, Ballet, Dance Conditioning, Tap, Acrobatics, Hip Hop, and student choreography. Intensives will focus on improving flexibility, technique, skills, and endurance. Emphasis is on individual attention, growth, and improvement for every dancer. ​

This summer, join us for HBDA's Hip Hop Intensives featuring various choreographers + get the opportunity to learn each of their signature styles. From popping, waacking, breaking and locking, focus on technique this summer while tapping into your own freestyle exploration and artistic collaboration.

POM Camp

Clap your hands and stomp your feet, HBDA can't be beat! Join us this summer for POM/Cheer camp - a dynamic blend of precision, spirit and teamwork for dancers ages 8+. From high-energy cheers to jazzy dance moves, this camp is designed to introduce and elevate POM + cheer skills in a supportive and spirited atmosphere. ​

Extended Care (ages 5-14)

Looking for an extended childcare after HBDA Dance Camp? Join our 2-hour program with HBDA staff while they take care of your child + keep them entertained with crafts, games and snacks! Children must be enrolled in an HBDA summer camp the same week to participate.
​Materials Fee covers snacks, crafts and activities.

CANCELLATIONS & TRANSFERS​​

Cancellation and transfer requests are allowed up to one week prior to start date of camp, class or workshop. No credits will be issued if the client withdraws/transfers after this deadline.

For all camps through Belmont Parks + Recreation: all cancellation or transfer requests must be submitted in writing one week before the program begins. The camp cancellation fee is $15. Medical emergencies are exempt from this policy, however a medical certification from your doctor is required. No refunds or credits will be given for the $2.70 processing fee as this is charged by a third party for the convenience of using the online service.

CLASS GUIDELINES

Dancers are expected to arrive to class on time and ready to warm up. No gum, cell phones, or disruptive behavior are allowed. Respect for the teachers, staff, dancers, and one's self are expected at all times.
​
PARENT OBSERVATION
-
We do not allow parents, friends or visitors to stay in the dance room or outside class area as it can become distracting or uncomfortable for our dancers. If you have any concerns, please let us know. Parents and visitors may always watch through the window or from a distance outdoors.
